This policy covers personally identifiable information collected and/or stored by CI Technologies in relation to this Wiki. CI Technologies collects and retains the least amount of personally identifiable information needed to fulfill the Wiki's and CI Technologies' operational needs.
Each and every user of the Wiki must have a user account registered with CI Technologies. Users are identified by their user name. Users select a password, which is confidential and used to verify the integrity of their account. Except as it may be required by law, no person should disclose, or knowingly expose, either user passwords and/or user names generated to identify a user.
Once created, user accounts will remain so long as the agency they are associated with is current with their annual maintenance payments. If an agency chooses to go dormant, all user accounts associated with that agency will be deactivated by CI Technologies administrators.
Purpose of the collection of private information
CI Technologies limits the collection of personally identifiable user data to purposes directly related to CI Technologies course of business. CI Technologies may provide name, rank and business contact information to use as reference when request by potential agencies. Also, contact information may be used in order to notify customers of upcoming events (conferences, symposiums, etc.) and/or product releases.
